Project Description

Quartz have recently completed the Mechanical & Electrical services for a Design & Build project for Assura Health, for the New Nunthorpe GP Surgery, New Facility is single story and consists of Patient Waiting area, GP Consulting Rooms & Nurse Treatment Rooms including Dedicated Staff Areas and all WC facilities.

Building was carried out to BREEAM Excellent. This was particular and part of the contract design brief to achieve. We installed a 17.6kw PV system consisting of 55no PV panels. Heating on this project was fully electric and no Gas Service installed. All Lighting is via Lighting controls to conserve energy via PIR’s. Heat recovery units used for local ventilation in ceiling void, and a BMS monitoring system to review building energy usage as part of BREEAM Quartz were full design responsible on this for the M&E design and appointed Kinetic Engineers Ltd for this service.
